HOSPITAL JEOPARDY
Desmon was asked to play Hospital Jeopardy against 2 doctors. One doctor was from the Emergency Department, Dr. Geof, and the other was from the Rapid Treatment Unit, Dr. Mike, here at PCMC. Demson's score was 5500, Geof's was -1400, and Mike's was -1. So obviously Desmon put the smack down on the doctors. If you would like to see pictures of Desmon's victory you can visit the facebook of Primary Children's Medical Center. It was a lot of fun. So far everything is going well.

Things I did while I was home....
Hanging with my mom...
Played with my brothers and Molly our dog...
Jumped on the tramp with my brothers...
Went to help in Brock's classroom with my mom for the Easter Party and I visited my class...
Making cookies...
Made sugar cookies with my mom...
Colored Easter eggs with friends and family...
Went to Brock's school program...

I had a great week home. This was the longest that I have been able to stay home. Dr. Fluchel let me go home for 10 days. (He is now my knew favorite docotor.) I usually only get to go home for 4 days. It was so nice to be able to spend time with my family and friends. Thanks, to all of my friends that came and visited me. We are now back here to the "Resort on the Hill", we were able to get the corner suite. I am in room 4421. It is one of the largest rooms on the ICS unit. It has a full couch for my mom to sleep on. I told my mom when we got to the "Resort" I was going to be haning out at the pool and she could get a massage. Then after that we would get a manicure and pedicure and then we would go to dinner at the best restuarnt in town. They have everything you could want and it is great food. I just love coming and hanging out at this resort. It should be on the travel channel. I should be home again by the first of May.

"Surprise Party"
Sorry, these are out of order. I forgot these two photos. So I added them.
Desmon wrote and sang me a song.
Desmon decided since we would be here for my birthday that she would throw me a surprise party. She arranged everything by herself.
This is her cake that she made for me. It is a throw up bind....she decorated it all by herself. Check out the candle. I was pretty impressed.
She is a wonderful daughter. Yes, for all of you that know me I usually do not shed a tear, she opened the flood gate. This was after she sang for me. She knows how to pull on my heart strings.
Desmon has always wanted to visit Paris...so one day we will. Richard and Desmon put this 500 piece puzzle together.
Yes this is the board room. She has always asked Dr. Guthery and Dr. Sciafe to name a wing after her, so this will do. Look how proud she is...EVERYONE loves Desmon!

We're BACK........

Okay so we are officially back. We were admitted on Monday at 1:00pm. I had a nice stay at home with my family. While I was home, I played with McCoy and our dog Molly. She slept with me a few nights. It was nice to be home. I also had a few visitors. It was nice to see family and of course my best friends. McCoy was home all week because he had just been discharged. He was so strong he came home so fast. I can't believe how strong he is. He even went with me to the hospital last Thursday when I had my bone marrow aspirations. We there all day! McCoy was awesome. I also got to see Dr. Scaife and Tonya. I even had dart wars with McCoy and our awesome friend. It was so much fun! I tried to sneak a dart gun into the hospital, but my mom didn't think it was the best idea. I told her "it's for fun". I have 5 days of Chemo and then, lovely count recovery. My goal is to be out by March 2oth. I could then be home for McCoy's birthday. That would be awesome. I love hanging out with my brothers. Well we will see. We will enjoy our stay, I will keep everyone entertained as usual. I'll keep you posted!

WE ARE HOME!!!!!!
Oh happy day. We were all able to leave the hospital this weekend. Desmon was discharged on Saturday or more like kicked out because she wouldn't stop harassing the nurses J/J. Actually she finished her second induction and was doing very well, so they discharged her. As you know McCoy was in for his surgery and he did so well they discharged him on Sunday. So for now we are home. My plan was to all come home from the hospital around the same time and I guess my estimations for that were right on. The only problem my estimations of time frame were a little off so Brock is in AZ with cousins and Grandma. By the time he gets back we will be back at the resort on the hill. He was going to come home with Ciara but he decided he was having too much fun with his cousins. McCoy and Desmon will be here, together, I think all week. They haven't told me when they would like to see us again. Hopefully not until next week but we will see. McCoy is doing well, he just has some pain every now and then but overall he is recovering like a champ. Thanks to those of you who came to see him in the hospital, he really appreciated seeing his friends and meeting new ones.
Homeward bound
Finally discharged from the hospital. I was a super patient. In-n-out in no time.
So I asked for a larger room and it back fired. We ended up with a roomy because the hospital was so dang busy...It's funny if you know me....
So nice to know they love each other..
McCoy on his daily walk, coming to see Desmon...
Molly even came with us to pick up McCoy...
