Desmon wrote and sang me a song.
Desmon decided since we would be here for my birthday that she would throw me a surprise party. She arranged everything by herself. She designed and painted these banners by herself. And yes she used her feet and hands.
This is her cake that she made for me. It is a throw up bind....she decorated it all by herself. Check out the candle. I was pretty impressed.
She is a wonderful daughter. Yes, for all of you that know me I usually do not shed a tear, she opened the flood gate. This was after she sang for me. She knows how to pull on my heart strings.
Desmon has always wanted to visit Paris...so one day we will. Richard and Desmon put this 500 piece puzzle together.
Yes this is the board room. She has always asked Dr. Guthery and Dr. Sciafe to name a wing after her, so this will do. Look how proud she is...EVERYONE loves Desmon!

What a wonderful surprise for an amazing mom. Happy Belated Nikki and way to go Desmon.

ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great birthday Nikki!!! I still can't believe Desmon planned the whole thing herself...actually I take that back. She is amazing so of course she did! :) Feel better Desmon--I'm thinking about you!! I will come see you Sunday night.
ReplyDeleteDesmon, what a woman you are! My birthday is in 21 days. Hurry home from the hospital and let's plan a surprise party for me too. It has been fun to be with McCoy and Brock these last two weeks. Do you think you will be home for Easter? It is snowing--again. And it is coming down fast. Is it snowing in Salt Lake? We will be coming to visit you tomorrow, unless we get snowed in by this big blizzard and we are stuck in our house. Just kidding.
ReplyDeleteLove you, Grandma and Grandpa
Des I love the party picture. Good Job with the banner. That is so nice to do a party for your mom. She deserves the best just like you. I miss you guys.
ReplyDeleteI love your amazing family!!! What a sweet birthday you will never forget!! Was that number 24 or 25?
ReplyDeleteHi Desmon,
ReplyDeleteWell, Mr. Hayes and I survived Clear Creek with the fifth grade boys and girls. The students were awesome. We exercised, made rockets, watched movies at night, games, skits, archery and other fun things! We were exhausted when we got home. I think you would like it. So, we could arrange for you to come next year and bring a friend. Next year we will go in September instead of March. This will be a warmer time and very pretty with the fall leaves changing. We are in the fourth term of school. Where has this year gone? Wow, time passes quickly! I've had a cold so I haven't come up to see you, but as always- I think about you every day. Spring Break is in a couple of weeks. We are going on a family vacation. I'm looking forward to the sunshine! I hope your writing is going well. I can't wait to have you share what you have written in your writer's notebook. I will bring mine next time I come to see you and we can share!
Stay strong and steady girl. I love you!
Mrs. Hayes
I hope all of you are doing well. You are all amazing. Those are some really great looking kids. We love you.
